The Dirty (Baker's) Dozen?

A group called the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington issued a report in which it named 13 lawmakers, of both parties, but primiarily Republicans, who they say have violated ethics laws. According to the Seattle Times, "Representatives for some of the 13 congress members dismissed the report as 'pure politics.'"

A quick scan of the report shows that the lawmakers accused of improper ethics have either been cleared of such charges by the House/Senate Ethics committee or been punished in some way, like the paying of FEC fines or closing of FEC cases. The problem with such reports is that they tend to gloss over such details.
