Chris Warner, a resident of Annapolis, MD and the owner of Earth Treks climbing gyms, has reached the summit of K2, the second highest peak in the world. In doing so, Warner has become only the 8th American and one of 112 people in the world to have successfully climbed both Mt. Everest and K2.
In a brush with fame, I shook hands with Warner about 10 years ago at the Earth Treks in Columbia, MD.
