According to the Associated Press, Nancy Pelosi is working on her memoirs. Becomeing the first female Speaker of the House is a historical accomplishment, but that is all. Until her election as Minority Leader in the House, Nancy Pelosi was an unremarkable liberal Congresswoman from San Francisco. Quick-name something, anything, that she has done besides becoming Speaker.
Did she sponsor any particularly important legislation? Does she have a name sake bill anywhere in her history? I can't think of one.
I imagine the book will do well though.
