At first the headline caught my attention as stupid, but the city could ban the treat in governmental buildings because people have a tendency to burn the treat and then set off smoke alarms requiring an evacuation.
Of course, if people would just stand by the microwave when cooking, that is being responsible, this wouldn't have become an issue.
