It’s Not Your Fault, But It Is Your Problem

It’s Not Your Fault, But It Is Your Problem, truer words about education were never spoken.

I see this from a little different angle and I have had to take steps to address them in my daughter's education. There is an intensive focus on her reading and math (she is finishing first grade) and I don't have an objection per se. The problem is that many other things are sacrificed, science, social studies, P.E., etc.

My daughter loves to read and we try to get her to read other than fiction, but it will get harded as we go foward.

When education focuses only on reading and math, you get a group of students whose education is not nearly as rounded as it should be.
