The Offside links to a quote by DC United's spokesman Doug Hicks about shirtless fans at Estadio RFK. Unfortunately, most of the shirtless are male fans but really is this a matter of policy for other teams? Apparently the Washington Nationals have a policy against men going shirtless (do they have a policy about women going shirtless? What about bikini tops as it does get mighty toasty on some summer days in DC).
Now showming my own lacivious nature, I don't mind bikini clad soccer fans--nothing wrong with that, but you don't want to see this writer shirtless in the stands. If the pasty white skin doesn't blind you, the extra poundage might.
