Education News Close To Home

A little Frederick County Education news.Back in college, during a policy class, I had actually advocated for more large businesses to put together mentorship/apprecnticeship style trainings. The idea was to provide job skills (something all to unfamiliar to some teenagers), broad horizons, and to offer opportunities to see real world applications of schooling and perhaps inspire further education.

My professor and classmates dismissed the idea saying that it would never appeal to businesses. I wonder what they think now?
