Fulham FC has added a fourth American International to its roster as Kasey Keller joins the now injured striker Brian McBride, midfielder Clint Dempsey and defender Carlos Bocanegra at Craven Cottage.
I don't know if Keller will see any playing time or not and at age 37, he is significantly older than the other Fulham netminders. But Keller has had a long career and lots of success both internationally with the United States and in European leagues in England, Germany and Spain.
With Fulham's initial starting keeper Antti Niemi injured and out for a while, Fulham needed to add some depth to the keeper slot. While Tony Warner has shown some promise, his performance has been yo-yo-ing a bit. Keller's consistency and shot blocking skill is formidable and if nothing else can provide a mentorship role for the young Warner.
With four American starters possible, Fulham has probably the largest American crew in the Premier League. With Keller joining Fulham, America has four keeper playing in the EPL, Keller, Tim Howard (Everton), Brad Friedel (Blackburn) and Marcus Hahnemann (Reading) all playing in the top flight league.
