Obama says he would impose oil windfall profits tax. Look if you want to cut oil company profits, stop buying oil company products.
Oh yeah, we can't. Then stop whining about oil company profits because they are providing a key, indeed essential, commodity and you weren't smart enough to build your own oil company.
Until Americans alter their economic behavior, you will continue to see high oil company profits and I am okay with that.
If Obama and the Democrats really want to help, cut that gas taxes--that is almost 20 cents to the gallon for the federal share already.
