Drew Carey Talks Immigration and Soccer

As usual, Carey makes a great deal of sense and he might be right about somethings. Yes, David Beckham came to the United States to play soccer (and make $250 million) and yes he is an immigrant--sort of. Technically he is a resident alien at best (a green card holder) but more likely here on a special visa to play soccer.

The problem with immigration that Carey sort of sides steps is the illegal kind. If you come to America by following the rules (like Beckham--although he can afford lots of lawyers), I say welcome. If you break the rules and are here illegally--get out of my country until you can follow the rules.

Is that so hard? Really?
