John McCain is a Cylon

While I don't normally talk about my love of Battlestar Galactica in this space, I have to say that it is probably my favorite show on TV and I think one of the best ever made.

At the end of last season, we learned that battle-hardened, alcohol-swigging, wife-killing (yes it really happened last season) veteran Col. Saul Tigh is actually a Cylon.

Then I saw this post (hat tip to the Instapundit) and I was struck at why I didn't see the physical and indeed vocal similarity of Tigh (played by Michael Hogan) and John McCain.
