Future American Star--Matthew Taylor

Matt Taylor had a hat trick over the weekend for TuS Koblenz. Who is Matt Taylor, well go read the story of how he got his contract with Koblenz. Taylor is getting a consistent amount of minutes for the Bundesliga 2 side and now has four goals in five appearances.

It may be early for Bob Bradley to be thinking about regularly playing Taylor in the National Team line up, but if he stays on form, he will certainly be worth a call into the National team camp in January. After all, Taylor would not be the only player from the Bundesliga 2 in camp, Heath Pearce from Hansa Rostock gets lots of starts for the U.S.

I'm just saying.

Bob Bradley already knows all about Matt. He is the one who brought him from Kansas City to Chivas and rarely played him. There is no way Matt will ever get a call up under Bob Bradley. I hope I am wrong, especially if Matt keeps his form up.

I'm so glad for Matt. I was really hoping he would end up in Columbus with Sigi - I believe there was a connection from UCLA there, plus he has family here. Now Sig is gone and it seems this is better op for him anyway.

Thanks for the info. I am American and actually live in Koblenz, so perhaps I'll attend a game (despite living here, I'm a Leverkusen fan).
