Instapundit brings word of a USA Today poll from over the weekend that shows more support for the surge than a month ago. In one month, the percentage of people believing the additional troops are making the situation better jumped from 22% to 31%.
While the news out of Iraq is getting better, I have to wonder about American resolve. We appear to only want to back winners and if a team, a person or an idea is not winning, then we abandon it in droves, only to return if the fortunes pick up.
Fortuneately, despite all the rhetoric, President Bush and his team didn't give up and were more than just fair weather friends.
I wonder how the Democratic caucus is greeting this news?
