While I like world football (soccer to Americans), I still enjoy American football and this was sort of sad news: Brett Favre Set to Retire After 17 Years. However, after a career season (probably one of the top three in his long career, it would be hard for a 38-year-old man to top it, even if the 2008 season was 90% of last years season. People will wonder, just as they did before the 2007 season, if Farve is holding on too long.
It takes guts to go out at the top. A Trip to the Hall of Fame is in Farve's near future and deservedly so.
