Today is the 7th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
Please, today, take a few minutes to think and pray for all those lost on that horrible day, and the families they left behind.
Please, today, remember that such horrible events are not simply a thing of the past, but remain a threat today and into the future.
Please, today, remember that there are evil people out there who wish to do us, the greatest nation on Earth, harm simply because we are the most free, most democratic nation on Earth and that very fact is a threat to the terrorists.
Please, today, remember that although we cherish the freedom we have, we must never take it for granted. We must protect it, we must guard it with even greater zealousness than the bastards who plotted and executed those attacks on that terrible day.
Please, today, remember that we can never go back to how things were on September 10, 2001, but we should not forget September 11, 2001.
